Exchange Rate
A better PKR-per-AED rate generally produces more rupees from the same converted amount. Check the rate at the time you are ready to transfer.

Use the AED to PKR Remittance Calculator to estimate how many Pakistani rupees may reach your recipient when you send money from the United Arab Emirates. Enter your transfer amount, exchange rate and fees to calculate an indicative payout before confirming a transaction.
AED input · PKR estimate · Editable exchange rate · Transfer fee breakdown
Enter the amount you plan to send, the quoted AED-to-PKR exchange rate and any fee charged to you. The calculator estimates the recipient's payout using your inputs rather than assuming a live or guaranteed exchange rate.
Use the exchange rate shown by your bank or remittance provider. If the fee is added on top, the recipient conversion uses the full amount you entered. If deducted, the fee reduces the amount converted to PKR.
Calculated using the rate and fee you entered
The calculator helps you compare transfer scenarios in a consistent way. It is especially useful when two providers show different exchange rates or fee structures.
Type the amount you intend to send. Check whether your provider quotes the transfer amount separately from the fee or deducts the fee from the funds being converted.
Enter the exchange rate in Pakistani rupees for one UAE dirham. For example, a rate of 280 means each AED is multiplied by 280 before any applicable receiving-side deductions.
Enter the known transfer fee and select how it is charged. Calculate the result, then compare the estimated payout with the provider's final quote before confirming payment.
The basic currency conversion formula is straightforward: multiply the amount being converted in AED by the quoted number of PKR received for each AED. The result is the estimated amount in Pakistani rupees before any separate deductions applied after conversion.
Estimated PKR = Amount Converted in AED × Exchange Rate
If AED 500 is converted at 280 PKR per AED, the calculation is 500 × 280 = PKR 140,000 before any additional recipient-side charges.
If a provider charges the fee on top of the amount you send, the amount converted remains the full transfer amount. Your total payment is the transfer amount plus the fee, while the estimated payout is the transfer amount multiplied by the exchange rate.
If the fee is deducted from the amount being sent, subtract that fee from the transfer amount first. Multiply the remaining AED amount by the exchange rate. A fee deduction therefore reduces the estimated payout, even when the exchange rate stays unchanged.
The examples below use an illustrative rate of 280 PKR per AED. This is a teaching assumption, not a statement of today's market rate or a quote from a financial provider.
| AED Converted | Assumed Rate | Estimated PKR |
|---|---|---|
| AED 100 | 280 | PKR 28,000 |
| AED 500 | 280 | PKR 140,000 |
| AED 1,000 | 280 | PKR 280,000 |
| AED 2,000 | 280 | PKR 560,000 |
| AED 5,000 | 280 | PKR 1,400,000 |
These figures show the conversion before transfer fees or other deductions. If your provider offers a different rate, enter that rate in the calculator to produce a more relevant estimate.
The advertised exchange rate is only one part of the transaction. Compare the complete cost and payout rather than choosing a provider based on one number alone.
A better PKR-per-AED rate generally produces more rupees from the same converted amount. Check the rate at the time you are ready to transfer.
A fixed fee can have a different impact on small and large transfers. Check whether it is added to your payment or deducted before conversion.
Some transfer routes or receiving arrangements may involve additional charges. Confirm with the provider whether the quoted payout is the amount the recipient should receive.
Delivery time can vary by provider, transfer method, verification checks, banking hours and recipient details. Confirm the expected delivery window before paying.
Funding a transfer by card, bank transfer or another supported method may affect fees, limits or processing time. Review the full quote for your chosen method.
Ask whether the quoted rate is locked for your transaction and how long the quote remains valid. Rates may change before an order is completed.
Use the same AED amount when comparing providers so that their exchange rates, charges and payout estimates can be evaluated fairly.
The exchange rate is entered manually. This avoids presenting an assumed figure as a live bank or remittance-provider rate. Rates can change during the day and can differ between providers, transfer sizes and payment methods.
The calculator does not automatically know a provider's fee schedule or your account-specific terms. If charges are unknown or excluded from the quote, the actual payout may be lower than the displayed estimate.
This page calculates an indicative amount only. It does not initiate a transfer, hold funds, verify recipients, promise a delivery time or guarantee a particular exchange rate.
Before authorising a transfer, review the provider's final amount payable, rate, fees, recipient payout, delivery estimate and cancellation conditions. The provider's confirmed transaction details take precedence over this estimate.
Answers to common questions about converting UAE dirhams into Pakistani rupees and estimating a remittance payout.
Multiply the amount in AED by the exchange rate quoted in PKR for each AED. For example, AED 100 at an illustrative rate of 280 equals PKR 28,000 before fees or deductions.
No. You enter the rate yourself using a current quote from your chosen bank or remittance provider. The calculator does not claim that its example rate is live.
Yes, the calculator accounts for the fee you enter. Choose whether the fee is added on top of the transfer amount or deducted from the AED amount before conversion.
The provider may use a different rate, charge additional fees, apply rounding or pass on intermediary or receiving charges. Always compare the final transaction quote.
All else being equal, a higher PKR-per-AED rate means more rupees for the same converted AED amount. However, compare the final payout after all fees, not the rate alone.
Yes. Enter your intended transfer amount and the current rate and fee offered for that transaction. You can recalculate different amounts to compare scenarios for regular support payments.
Select the option that adds the fee on top. The amount entered is converted to PKR, while the fee is displayed separately as an additional AED payment.
No. It only estimates the conversion. To send money, use a licensed bank or remittance provider and confirm its terms, identity checks and recipient information.
You can choose a whole-rupee display for a quick overview or two decimal places for a more detailed estimate. A provider may apply its own payout rounding rules.
Check the rate shown in the final quote from your chosen bank or remittance service. General central-bank information is useful background but may not match a provider's customer rate.
Enter your transfer amount, quoted rate and fee to compare an estimated payout in Pakistani rupees. Confirm all charges and the final recipient amount with your provider before completing a transfer.
